Watch the first episode of ‘America’s Worst Tattoos’
The first episode of this show from TLC is certainly full of a lot of bad decisions and bad tattoos.
Bad tattoos and shows highlighting bad tattoos are becoming an epidemic. I know it’s more fun to see people who regret what they inked on their body but I’d like to see a show highlighting actual talent and great tattoos. (and no I don’t count ‘Ink Master’…..I kinda think that show is a joke. Those people are not the best of the best IMHO)
Reblog: Commissions!
So once upon a time, I moved to Portland, where I met a Poppet. The Poppet and I had many adventures and I came to love the Poppet like family. Somehow, I managed to stay in contact with my Poppety friend, despite distance and life and craziness. Our adventures in Portlandia seemed to fade like memories of fairytales you maybe read once upon a time.
Well, now my Poppet needs to be a real boy, but blue fairies only exist in Disney films and while dreams may be wishes that your heart makes, in the real world, Jiminy Cricket accepts Visa, Mastercard, and cash. So click through to read more and donate to, what I would call, a pretty fantastic, and purely personal, fund. Sure, you won’t be helping save an animal from extinction, but you will be helping one very real person in a very real way.
A few people have been asking for examples of my artwork for those who want to commission me. So, I picked out a few pieces to show the kind of work I can do, and prices for each of them. Prices are as follows (in order):
Ink: $15
Ink with screentones: $20
Ink with colored pencil: $25
Ink with digital color: $25
Watercolor: $30
Pixel Art: prices will cary, depending on size.
Comic page: add $5 to base price.
These are all base prices, based on how much time, effort, and materials I put into each of them. If you commission more than one piece, I would be happy to give you a deal! Tips are also accepted and greatly appreciated, if you enjoy your end result!
How to request a commission? Either shoot me an ask in our ask box or send me an email at testosteroneforthomas@gmail.com
How to pay for a commission? What happens after I finish your commission is I will send you a digital copy of your finished drawing with a huge, ugly watermark on it. When I confirm correct payment from you (via our donate button, or in person), I will send you the piece without the watermark, in it’s original form. This is so you, the buyer, has confirmation that your piece is completed, and protects me from anyone who may be less than trustworthy.
What if I want to have the original copy of the commission? If I know you in person, this is no problem at all. Arrange a time to meet up with me, and I would be more than happy to. However, if I have to mail it to you, $5 will be added to your base price. I am not responsible if it gets lost or damaged in the mail. Pieces that I cannot mail include: commissions with tones, digital color, or pixel art. If you want the original copy, please arrange this with me ahead of time.
Thanks again to EVERYONE who follows, reblogs, donates, or commissions. All of your love and support is astounding. ♥
